Hi,

Just after some advice I have called my midwife and she told me not to worry but this is my first child after a miscarriage and everything am worried over.

I went the toilet today because I felt really wet down there and when I checked I had this in my underwear I originally thought that it is just normal discharge I have had this from the start but never this much but then I googled it while waiting for my midwife to call me and seen a lot of post saying it may be my mucus plug. The baby has been moving a lot today too but no pain but I have had cramping throughout my pregnancy too

Can some one help me or kind of reassure me that everything is okay, is this a mucus plug or just heavy discharge

I've had this kind of discharge throughout my pregnancy on and off and I'm now 37 weeks and baby still in there! I know how you feel though miscarriage makes you question everything.

Hope that is of help

X

18 weeks and have this all the time. Its so hard not to worry especially after losses but looks like normal discharge your plug is like a massive gloop of jelly x

I would say normal discharge too. Mucus plug in my experience is more jelly like if that makes sense. Lost mine when I was induced and was well and truly shocked. Even took a pic to show the midwife.

Nobody would get investigated for this it is normal discharge in pregnancy.

When you lose your mucus plug you will know!
