Third baby midwife appointments l

Just out of curiosity I've just been for my 38 week appointment I'm 38+5 and I though I would be seeing her again next week now I'm nearly there but she's booked me in for 2 weeks so I'll be overdue then is this because it's my 3rd baby?

No, I imagine it’s to arrange induction if you are going to need it.

With my 2+ pregnancies the standard apts went 38wks (GP) then 41wks for sweep and arrange induction. Only FTM were seen at 40wk as standard.

That said with my 4th and 5th theyve seen me at 40wks because I asked. I always go overdue so wanted sweeps prior to 41wks.

This is my first baby and I've just checked my scheduled appointments in my folder...I will next have one at 28weeks then 31weeks, 34weeks, 36weeks, 38weeks, 40weeks and 41weeks (if needed).

Nothing mentioned about induction and they won't give me a sweep till I'm 41 weeks my other 2 children were 9 days late. I just assumed appointments may be a bit more regular over the next couple weeks that's all

My earliest and only spontaneous was 10 days overdue. The others have all been induced.

I dont really understand why there is such a big gap from 38-41wks for stm+ either but mine were happy to see me around 40wks anyway. With this ome they saw me at 39+4 (routine checks and sweep) and 40+3 (check and sweep) and then i was induced at 41 due to my age.

I'm pregnant with my second and each time I've seen the midwife, she has said to book in extra appointments if I feel like I need it... I saw her at 28 weeks last and won't see her til 34 weeks now... but she said if I have any concerns, just book in at 32 weeks regardless.
But yes, I won't get seen at 40 weeks either!

This is 3rd dc for me. My last midwife app was at 38 weeks and next one at 40+3, but my normal midwife has now left so it will be a new one.
I’ve had previous csection so should also have a consultant app (as this will be vbac) booked but they apparently called me and I didn’t pick up so I missed my appointment.
I never knew they were calling and it was at 5pm as I was collecting my other kids…now no midwife or consultant is getting back to me at all so but worried I’ve called between the cracks of midwives and consultants!
