This is my 4th pregnancy but I've never experienced the sickness like this in any previous pregnancy... or ever in my life! I feel very very sick CONSTANTLY. It doesn't seem to let up at all. It's waking me up at night. I've thrown up maybe a handful of times since it started, it doesn't seem to help it go away when I actually vomit either Sad
I'm only 8 weeks, it started at 5 weeks, feels like it's lasted a lifetime already and I don't know how I'm meant to cope with many more weeks of this! I've only ever had very mild sickness or none at all!
Please hit me with your best tips, even if it's only a brief remedy!! I'm so miserable.

Are you able to keep food & water down??
Could talk to the doctor, they can prescribe medication to help especially if your so bad your can't do your normal daily activities.

Maybe speak to your mw if it's HG?

I had all-day 'morning' sickness throughout my pg just ate a lot of dry toast, cornflakes (no milk) and lemon juice in ice cold water helped, weirdly.

Hoping it gets easier for you op xx

Hi I'm the same 4th pregnancy nausea kicked in before I got a positive test!! it went away for a few days but it's back with a vengance! probably didn't help that I had to have salt and vinegar crisps at 7 am this morning! If it's not manageable definitely speak to gp/ midwife.

Oh and I've found eating smaller amounts and plain food helps too, sucking on a mint or eating a ginger biscuit also help me. I hope it's eases soon!!

Gingin sweets. Travel sickness bands. Eat and drink little and often. Don’t let your blood sugar fall or get hungry

Definitely go to see your GP - I got some anti sickness tablets and while they didn't get rid of the sickness completely, they definitely helped. In the meantime, I basically lived on plain hula hoops and crumpets for the first 12 weeks!

Oranges! That was the only thing that worked for me.

Thank you so much for all your suggestions, I'm going to stock up on all of these things today and see which works best.

Could it still be HG if I'm only actually vomiting now and again with it? I didn't know if it was worth ringing GP since I'm keeping at least water, ice lollies, digestive biscuits, dry cereal etc down. The only thing I can't seem to keep down is a warm meal. Had a mouthful of lasagne last week, brought it straight back up, can't bear the thought of swallowing warm food now. Didn't realise how lucky I was in my other pregnancies!

Go to the drs. I was prescribed a brilliant anti nausea tablet which I took around 4pm and slept until the next morning. It just knocked me out so I wasn’t aware of the nausea.
