Double pushchairs

Hey.. so I'm looking for advice on double pushchairs. My son will be 18 months old when his sister will be born and was wondering what everyone went with. I'd like something compact and easy to fold down and not to big and bulky that it can fit through slim doors and also not over expensive lol.. and if I'm not asking for to much converts into a single peak for when my son is able to walk with out getting tired and have naps etc xx

I have a 26 month age gap between mine but my dd was a late walker so definitely still needed a pushchair. I had the egg tandem pushchair (already had the egg when DD was a baby so just needed to buy the tandem adapters). It was very compact and easy to get around shops as well as on public transport.

I now have the Phil and Ted's dot which is brilliant for two children. So compact and easy to push. I mainly use it as a single but it's always handy to have the second seat for when DD is tired after nursery.

We had a zeta vooom for our twins. Very lightweight, maneuverable, compact folded and fit through most doors. Was not too expensive, we bought from baby travel online. We have got a single version for this baby.

Mountain buggy duet is brilliant, doesn't convert to a single though. The mountain buggy is also great off road too, we take it on loads of walks of harder terrain.
