37+6. Had enough

It sounds so awful cause I’m forever grateful to be pregnant but I’ve had such a hard pregnancy since week 6 with sickness that im so ready for baby girl to make an entrance.

Up till now it’s gone so fast (until the last two weeks). I’m slowly losing my plug, I have pinky discharge and she’s 2/5 engaged but I can’t see her coming anytime soon. I see my midwife on Thursday, do you think it’s possible to ask for an induction or sweep or is that ridiculous?x

No harm in asking op, my midwife done one for me at 39 weeks.

I was feeling the same and my MW kept telling me to be patient that baby will come when baby is ready... I did not want to hear this at the time 😅 i did get 2 sweeps after 40 weeks and she was born at 41w2
But when she was here it all made sense! I almost had a feeling of guilt for wanting to rush her out. It was so weird!!!

So you have my sympathy but unfortunately i don't think it is very wise to ask for induction before your due date 😌

Yeah should have added she done a sweep at 39 weeks, I was already booked in for induction at 40.

@SunnySideUp2020 haha yeah I think I need to be patient. Up until last week I didn’t want her out as I wanted to keep her safe in there, now is a completely different story!

I just feel so useless laying down all day in pain!xx
