Knee keeps giving way!

I’m 35 weeks and having problems with my leg. If I’m inactive for a while my calf gets hard and seizes up. Walking can relieve it but then my knee gives out unexpectedly. It’s making me nervous to go out walking by myself. I know relaxin will be increasing as I near my due date but wondered if anyone else is experiencing this and what can help?

I would go to your GP and get it checked out. May be worth investing in a knee support to stabilise the joint when you exercise, I use wraps when in the gym and they help a lot.
I have similar problem with my knees but I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis almost 4 years ago. The relaxin has increased issues.

Thanks! I’ve never had any problem before so it’s quite disconcerting. One minute it’s fine and the next it’s away!

Have you been to a physio?
