I don't know but have you phoned the NHS helpline or the out of hours doctor?

Kel787 · 21/06/2021 23:18

No I haven’t phoned them yet because Iv just had the scan today they think it could be old blood leaving or burst blood vessel but I’m getting cramps and lower back pain curios If this has happend to any one else and everything turned out fine if it continues by tomorrow I will go to EPU

Based on colour could be old blood coming away. Unfortunately even if you are miscarrying there's little can be done to prevent at this stage.

Be aware of potentially worrying symptoms that may occur that require medical intervention but otherwise I think rest and hope for best?

Wouldn't hurt to call nhs line.

Fwiw I lost 3 before dd and that blood was almost all bright red fresh blood with some darker clots, bled with dd too but that was brown/old blood

I don't want to give you false hope but also don't want to say definitely mc either

It's a waiting game I'm afraid

Sorry you're going through this Thanks

I had some brown blood at 16 weeks, my baby from that pregnancy is now 17. Whenever I have had a miscarriage it has always been fresh red blood at the start, then clots & brown blood at the end. Have you had an internal scan? It may have disturbed a bit of the stuff blocking off your cervix, seeing a heartbeat is a good sign, tell yourself you aren't going to worry until you have to, get some rest for a couple of days if you can, I don't mean stay in bed but just don't go shifting heavy furniture or digging the garden. I know they always tell you that if it is going to happen nothing will change it but if you are sensible then you aren't going to be blaming yourself should the worst happen.
