37 weeks and signs of labour !!

Hello, if experienced mums can help me out here.
I am FTM ! So I am 37 weeks today and I have been having pink discharge in the morning since past two days. I also feel bit of pressure around my lower tummy for few seconds 4-5 times a day and very mild lower back pain (period like but not intense) few times a day for few seconds. Don't know if its braxton hicks as I dont know how it feels. I called Triage about the pink discharge and they told me to put a pad on and asked me to keep an eye on it if it gets heavier. It hasn't got heavier till now but I do think It might be start of something.
Anyone with similar issues ?? I hope baby arrives soon now as its getting really uncomfortable to sleep or sit now and constantly having back pain while sleeping.

Hi I'm also a first time mum.I'm 38+3 so far I have had pain on my middle back that was very uncomfortable on friday called triage who asked me to go in to be checked. All well and given cocodamol for pain.Saturday had bloody show but nothing happened.Sunday nothing and today I've been feeling very nauseous and had loose bowels. I've gave up thinking he will come early🙈😂being induced on Friday but would rather go myself.

Sounds like you are on your way to the labour !! I have read here plenty of times that you get loose bowels just before labour. Fingers crossed for you !! Going to speak to my midwife tomorrow about the pink discharge and back pain !! I am really tired of sleepless nights due to back pain and swollen face. Really can't wait to meet the baby now and go yo sleep on my back again !! 😑

@Theeasypeasywoman would love to be in labour but just something at the back of my mind is telling me that I will need to be induced😂which is quite ironic considering I kicked up such a fuss at the start of my pregnancy as I wanted progesterone to stop the baby coming early due to short cervix😂which I was given and took from 18 weeks to 36🙊hopefully your not too far behind me!ohhhh I can't wait for back sleeping 🙌🏻

If the area around your belly button is flat and soft this can be a sign of b2b baby. They can still turn at this point, mine was b2b at my scan yesterday but turned again last night

@THATbasicSNOWFLAKE it seems quite hard around that area so I assume he's still in the same place. Have a scan tomorrow so will find out then and induction on Friday😬😬

@THATbasicSNOWFLAKE I'm currently at the hospital being checked over as I think my waters broke😲😲maybe won't need the induction after all

Defo waters. But no contractions yet. Been sent home and booked in for tomorrow for induction. Hoping something happens overnight😬😬

Hello everyone,
I am STM with a one and a half year toddler.
Currently I am 37 weeks 6 days pregnant. I am literally done with this pregnancy and have been symptom spotting since weeks. All the lower backaches, discharges, diarrhoea, everything comes and goes. Just feeling a lot of pressure in the lower abdomen when i walk or wakeup. Anyone relating to these please share with me As this on and off pain is driving me nuts
