Hello, I am hoping that someone out there has a similar problem to this and can suggest some remedies. I had my first child almost a year ago and a few months after I started to get eczema on my chest and back - nothing too bad. I am now 12 wks pregnant and over the last couple of months my skin on my face, neck, chest and back has become unbearable. My chest looks like it is severely burnt, is very dry and itchy. My neck is red and blotchy along with my back and face. Its driving me mad and I don't know if it could have something to do with the pregnancy?? I never suffered with any skin condition last time so am not sure - is there anyone with a similar condition?? I have been to the dr's several times and have gone privately - they prescribe the usual steroids which I do not like taking. Have thought about acupuncture but not sure - would love to hear if you can help.
Thx

I had awful exzema during pg with DS1. It was itchy, sore and I made myself bleed a few times with my scratching. Never found a cure though - just thought I'd reassure you that it disappeared within a day of DS1's arrival! Hopefully that might give you a little hope

hi rinky, sorry to hear your skin is bad - i got terrible acne over back shoulders, and to a lesser extent face and neck when pregnant with dd. i used absolutely everything (after a while, i'm ashamed to say i was just too vain to let it continue so tried all potions and lotions ) including acupuncture which i was getting for severe sickness anyway, but nothing worked until i had my baby, then within 4 weeks all gone (Except the scars ) hope you find something that works for you - my baby was born fine, despite all the crap i put all over myself - good luck.
