Could this have been twins?

This scan was of my last my pregnancy, i bled heavily in the beginning and had a singleton. This is the only photo i have of this scan as they didn't give me one but i did grab a quick photo of the screen while the scanner was out of the room.

But to me it looks like two pregnancy sacs. What do you think?

What was this scan for? Wouldn't they have told you

In my opinion I would say that looks like two pregnancy sacs and id be wondering the same if i saw that but could it be possible that there was other peoples scans on the screen when she left the room? Id have thought they would have to tell you if you had twins.

Echoing others' question - wouldn't they say if they saw twins? What did they say during the scan? Normally they say what they're seeing on screen

This was definitely my scan, but it was over two years ago now. I was looking at it for something else, at the time i remember thinking twins and with the bleeding we thought we had lost one.

The sonographer just said there was a hb!

I had 3 sacs on my first scan which was a 5+6, and it looked exactly like that - but with a third!

It could also be blood clot/ haematoma and a gestational sac. If you had heavy bleeding would make sense no?

@penny92 how many babies did you have?

It does look like two but I had a dark patch that I was told was a cyst on an early scan, I think only because I asked - they basically said, oh yeah it won't be an issue and will probably resolve itself. So if they didn't say anything I'd assume it wasn't.

Actually now you say that, i did have a cyst which they kept an eye on @cindarellasbelly!

To me one looks like it had a yolk sac and the other my baby! But as i say i am just pondering lol!
