Anyone else had Dark brown discharge at 10 weeks?

So I’ll be 11 weeks on Thursday and just had dark brown discharge which the midwife said is uncommon at this stage. She had booked me in for a scan tomorrow but now I’m worrying. Anyone had this and everything has been ok?

I had red spotting at 6 weeks and 11 weeks both times it was only in wiping and stopped within an hour. Baby was fine and there has been no reason why this occurred. I am 13 weeks now.

I think the midwife was wrong to say it's uncommon. The cervix can be easily irritated during pregnancy and cause this.

Hi yes i did from 9 weeks to 12 weeks. Was brown most of the time and at 1 point was red but baby was ok. Now I'm 15 weeks

I had brown spotting at around 8 weeks. I had an early scan at 10 weeks as a result and all was well. Now 35 weeks. It’s a really anxious time waiting for an early scan. Good luck xx

I had this many times with both pregnancies. I was told while not strictly ‘normal’ it was very common. They sent me for scans but they said it was only to put my mind at rest.

I had brown spotting and then red spotting at 10 weeks. Freaked the hell out, went for a scan, all fine. 26 weeks now. Best of luck!

Yes I did I had it all through early pregnancy, he's 6ft 4 now

Thankyou for your replies I’m trying to keep positive. I think I’ve panicked more because I’ve not felt sick today as well, which I usually do

I just wanted to update. It was good news Everything was fine with the scan, a heartbeat could be seen. I still have the brown discharge with tiny clots and have been advised to keep an eye on it. Thanks for all your replies

I had this at four weeks, six weeks and then eight weeks. Only for an hour or so each time. The one at six weeks I think I irritated my cervix with pessaries and the four and eight week one I half feel like my body was forgetting it's not meant to have a period lol
