I know its a very personal question so please only answer if you feel comfortable.
Basically I have always struggled with my weight and it took me so long to lose 2 stone and I can't stop worrying about gaining all of it back so was curious how much weight did people gain after they had given birth and waiting for the swelling to go down ect.
I'm trying to be as healthy as possible but I am so hungry and also in so much pain that exercise is limited for me and I already feel like ive gained too much weight at only 24 weeks pregnant. They say you're suppose to gain around a stone at 24 weeks... I've gained 2..

5 stone with dd. Her+water+placenta was 2stone ish and 3 stone in water and swelling from the pre ecplamsia.

With ds I gained less than 1st due to hg.

Still losing the weight from dd.

So much! 4 stone total..so much water weight though and it all came off fairly quickly. Please try not to worry.

I’ve lost 11lbs since booking and I’m almost 35 weeks. This was spurred on by a big weight gain of 3.5 stone (and not losing much of it) with my first!

I gained 4 stone with both of my pregnancies but both times lost a couple just by having the baby, fluid etc.
I very slowly lost weight but it came off gradually. When I was sleep deprived and breastfeeding, I ate what I like. It took a couple of years but I got there in the end.
Be kind to yourself. You're growing a person!

11 kgs for DS1
8 kgs for DD
9 kg for DS2

Back to the same weight I have been all my adult life each time once I stopped breastfeeding

I’m 39 weeks - I’ve gained 1st 8lbs (22lbs)

It’s advised that people with normal BMI don’t gain more than around 2st in pregnancy, but everyone will be different.

The second trimester is a very hungry time. You may find your weight gain evens out in the third trimester. For exercise, I’d advise just keeping your 10,000 daily steps up, for as long as you can into your third trimester. This will start to feel like enough of a challenge as you get bigger!

20kg (3stone). Ds weighed 4kg, and I was 12kg lighter when I came home 2 days later. So over half was basic baby related stuff. The other 8kg came off pretty quickly, so I think most was water weight as well.

I’m 26 weeks and have so far gained 2.8 kg (6lbs). Preparing myself for a big gain in the third trimester 😬 and all I’m wanting to eat at the moment is rubbish.

Trying so hard but I think as a lot of people say on here it kind of is what it is
