I saw my baby's heartbeat at 6w6d and my OB said everything was fine. Some people say to me don't get to excited is too early. But why not? Everything showed a healthy baby , I am 26 and a healthy mother. Now I keep thinking why would something go wrong? Has happened to someone after a healthy heartbeat something go wrong ? I'm so worried now an my next app is in 5 weeks from now. I will be almost 13 weeks. I would love to hear your stories

I know it’s hard to wait for scans but try not to fret! As you’ve said, you’re young and healthy and have already had a successful pregnancy.
I think when people say it’s “too early to get excited,” in a weird way, it really is coming from a place of love and care. Miscarriage is sad, but it’s also very random and usually caused by developmental issues that are in way influenced by the mother’s health or fertility. Chances are, folks know someone who had a loss and they just want to “protect” you from that, even though of course it doesn’t work that way….

Little do they know, your odds are so much better now that you’ve seen a heartbeat! Just stay optimistic and positive, you’re doing all the right things.
