Do you know why there's no fluid left? Does the baby have an abnormality in their waterworks?

Presumably docs aren't too worried or would CS today.

That all sounds pretty good, YG. You know they'd whip that baby out now if they were really worried.

I had gestational diabetes with dd and I remember them measuring the amount of fluid around the baby quite regularly - I presumed it was something to do with the diabetes. I'm sorry I can't remember more detail - will post again if I do. Hope they are both well.

I had this with dd - they were monitoring her growth and at 38 weeks saw that I had lost a lot of amniotic fluid and poor dopplers.... dd was born by emergency caesar that morning - but was not affected by the lack of fluid... they will just be monitoring the baby's blood sugar levels etc in special care - should just be in an egg box like all babes are rather than a humidicrib etc - from my recollection of baby in special care with dd....

have a friend who has just had her first - very low fluid levels throughout the pregnancy - from what I have heard ( she in in the UK) baby born by caesar ( at term) and all looks fine.

As zebra says if they were worried they would have had the cs today.... I had my scan at 9.30 and dd was born at 11.04 by caesar....

They are also monitoring her and have kept her in so I am sure it will all be well.
