Femur length @ 16 weeks

Hey ladies,

We went for a 16 week gender scan yesterday. I should have been 16 weeks and 2 days.

We’ve been a bit worried all the way through the pregnancy as we had lots of bleeding and was told we had miscarried.

Everything seemed fine on the scan yesterday although the femur length is measuring at 15 weeks and 5 days and I should be 16 weeks and 2. The head was measuring exactly where it should be.

Just wondering if I should be worried. Got another growth scan in a week so hopefully the measurement will have caught up by then :)

Hi, i’m going through the same thing now. May I ask how it turned out for you? Was everything ok with your baby?

Not sure exactly how far off your measurements are, however only a few days wouldn't scream an issue to me. Babies go through growth spurts so close but not exact wouldn't worry me if the medical professionals weren't worried

I posted this originally. My daughter is nearly 2 and is absolutely fine. The legs were always a bit behind.
