trying to conceive! HELP

I am so frustrated but I am five days late and ive gotten bfn all week, and now today I am spotting brown and light pink. I am never more than a day late. My cycle is 25-26 days and my period was supposed to arrive June 14. I have never had this and I don't know what this is. Should I test and if so when?

also, my cramps are pretty painful now...

Hi @bellaxo13 Do you know when you ovulated? I'd say usually a pregnancy test would give you an accurate +/- about 14 days after that. Perhaps you ovulated late in your cycle so your hcg isn't high enough to detect yet? Just a thought.

@dorothygaleandtoto I believe I ovulated according to my app on May 31st but I have no accurate way of telling cause I wasn't keeping track. I took a couple pregnancy tests and they were all negative . But maybe you're right and I ovulated late... if i did ovulate late, would that explain this odd spotting? Thank you for your reply ! :)

The spotting could be implantation bleeding, which can happen a week to two weeks after ovulation. I hope you're lucky and you get your BFP!

If you are not successful this cycle - buy some ovulation test strips and start tracking for a peak so you have a better idea of when you ovulate and when you’re fertile.
For me the app told me I ovulated around day 14 and my fertile period was day 7 to 15 or something similar.
Struggled to conceive. Started track LH levels and found my peak was closer to day 18-20. I got pregnant within 2 months.
Sadly that pregnancy ended in a miscarriage.
Started trying again and didn’t track as I knew it was cd18-20 that I ovulated.
Struggled to conceive- started tracking again and since the miscarriage my ovulation has moved to cd15/16 got pregnant first month after tracking- now 23 weeks.
What I am trying to point out is the app is only based on the ideal and until you start tracking LH levels and or basal body temp you will not get the app working for your individual cycles

@Kona84 Oh I see, thank you! , Well I got my period for sure now, my bleeding is super heavy and painful :/ but I will go ahead and invest in some ovulation tests for the upcoming months! I appreciate all the feedback!
