Currently 12+6 and I’ve got a small infection in my finger where I’ve bitten away some dead skin. I squeezed out the puss then about 30 mins later I was in the bathroom and saw a bottle of surgical spirit, I put a cotton bud inside and ran it over the swelling and area where the wound had closed up. Then I noticed AFTERWARDS that it shouldn’t be used in pregnancy. I’m freaking out, especially as I used an alcohol mouthwash this morning without realising.
Have I harmed my baby? I’m so frightened, can anyone shed any light?
