So bloated at 5 weeks

This is my third pregnancy and I am 5 weeks gone. Starting right after ovulation, my belly popped out with serious bloat each afternoon. I clocked a few colleagues looking at my tummy that week.

I went on to discover that I am pregnant and it has got worse. It's ok in the morning and then after lunch, my belly sticks out so much that I look like I am 4 months pregnant!

I am a (curvy) size 8 on top and while my tummy isnt washboard flat, its isnt a problem area and it generally doesn't stick out of my clothes.

Yesterday was the worst, and some other colleagues were looking at it again! I was so bloated, as if I had had a giant Christmas Day lunch with all the trimmings, hard and distended. I showed my husband my tummy yesterday and he agreed that it was bigger than usual.

This morning, it was back to normal again! I know the baby is the size of an orange pip, and that other hormonal factors are at play.. but what?

I vaguely remember this happening around 6 weeks with my last baby but can't remember the details.

Can anyone relate??
