Hi all!
I’m 11 weeks pregnant and have had a few aches and twinges throughout (and am ridiculously tired) but seem to have developed a couple of new symptoms that I was wondering if anyone else had experienced? My hips are really sore especially on the right side and particularly overnight, I have a very achey lower back and I feel like I have pulled a muscle in the middle of my right butt cheek except I’m sure I haven’t! Have also had weird numb/ pins and needles on side of my left thigh where it is widest. I Googled (I know, I know…) and the only thing that looks likely is sciatica but I think it’s too early for that? Not sure whether to try and speak to midwife / GP / EPAU (and if so, which one?) or to just see how I get on for a few days …

Hi op, congratulations. I haven't exactly experienced the aches and pains you have. But I didn't just want to read and go. I recommend you speak with your midwife or GP and see what they say hun. I hope you feel better soon. And good luck x

Thank you! It’s so hard not to worry about every new thing!

Yes I know hun. I was working all through the 12 weeks. I was so anxious it's was unbelievable. Thankfully I am now 12+5 now.
I'm sure your just having the growing pains as your skin is stretching and getting your body into pregnancy mode x

Sciatica can start early, or could be sacroiliac joint issue, as your pelvis has started moving. Deep tissue massage, osteopath, physio, support belt, stretches, all help.
