Does anyone know where is a good place to get some nighties (nightdresses/nightshirts) that button up?

Amazon or any supermarket.

I found an oversized buttoned pjama set best for me. The shirt was like short nightie x

Chums, landsend, patra; just google button through nightie.

Boohoo has maternity nighties

Moominmiss · 19/06/2021 09:59

I got some from boohoo. They were pretty cheap and actually not bad quality. I’ll be having a c section so wanted a nightie as I’ll have a catheter and wanted buttons as I plan on breastfeeding so needed ‘access’.

I got some Happy Mama ones from amazon, 1 button front and the other popper front

I got some for about £5 I think from primark that were perfect for me.
I’ve also gotten some from both Sainsbury’s and asda in the past so might be worth having a look?

I got some lovely button down nighties from Primark and also nice looking loungewear.

@Moominmiss

I had a c section and you're in the hospital gown whilst you have the catheter x

Tesco have a couple of button down night shirts in at the moment. They also have a few pyjama sets that are shorts with a short sleeve button down top which I thought would be good for summer. I bought a couple sizes up and it's working for me now at 39 weeks

I got two from Sainsbury's. They were £10 - so much cheaper than specific nursing nightwear! I just sized up and they are fine!

@Confuzzled12345 I got to wear my own nightie for my elcs with our twins.

Moominmiss · 19/06/2021 18:01

@Confuzzled12345 I’ve had 3 c sections and was changed into my own nightie as soon as I was up on the ward from recovery

I just bought a maternity nightie in Asda today and I'm super happy with it. Not buttons, it's like a feeding dress underneath and a cropped t-shirt over. Very comfy though. Just try to ignore the fact they all have 'fun' slogans on them and enjoy the comfort and ease for feeding.
