Baby’s Measurements 28 Week Scan

Had my 28 week scan and baby is measuring on the smaller side but they measured the baby’s head, legs and stomach, the head is measuring 29 weeks so exactly a week ahead and the legs and stomach are measuring 27 weeks and 3 days. I didn’t question when I had it but what does all that mean? Thanks!

That your baby has a large head? My baby's head was measured large. It wasn't massive. Just average. These measurements aren't exact either so unless you were told there's a concern I wouldn't worry at all. My son was measured to be 37 weeks when I was 33/34 weeks. It was way off. They predicted him to be 9lbs.5.. he was just about 7lbs.

That's all average in terms of size, nothing to be worried about. At 28 weeks you see some of the natural variation in size if they are going to be a bit taller/smaller. There is a margin of error on scans so a few days here or there is nothing to be concerned about.
