Hi I’m new here and have just found out I’m expecting for the first time!☺️
I’ve always known about the ‘baby box’ but I can’t seem to find how you get one (free preferably!) if anyone can direct me in the right direction. Also wouldn’t mind knowing about some other freebies other people have got- already got some from Emma’s diary and bounty.
Thankyouuuu.

I didn’t think this was a thing in England anymore, but I might be wrong! And it might still be elsewhere.

Only available in Scotland x

Be very careful about organisations like Emma's Diary and Bounty. They have been found guilty of selling on data to third party organisations including political parties.

Hi I had a baby box in 2018 for my daughter - it was brilliant. Came with a mattress and a muslin cloth and some freebies.

Unfortunately having looked into it again for my second pregnancy (I'm 11 weeks) the company have gone bankrupt and no longer provide boxes in the UK. Such a shame as we loved ours (and sadly it for damaged in a house move so can't use it again!)

Also the freebies from Emma's diary etc are ok but nothing special, Pregnacare vitamins, a single sanitary pad, those thin flat samples of shampoo etc. The Bounty packs are rubbish, just a tiny sample of Sudocrem. Asda and Tesco don't seem to do the packs anymore, they used to contain nappies and sometimes a baby vest etc but they're rubbish this year.

I think they're only available in Scotland.
I had Emma's Diary & Bounty Packs. Not sure there is much else tbh.

I got my baby box after completing a series of antenatal classes but this was in 2018. As others have said, I think they've been discounted in the UK.

You can get a free maternity information pack which has some free samples after your 32week appointment.

The bounty/ Emma's diary packs this time I thought were actually better- Asda for bounty and Argos for the Emma's. Got full nappy packs and useful samples this time round!

Congratulations.
If you're in Scotland your midwife will register you.
