6weeks and bleeding daily

Hello! I am currently 6weeks+1 and I have been spotting red blood daily for the last week and a half, I had a scan at 5weeks+5 and saw baby's heartbeat but since that scan I have been bleeding daily. Has anyone had daily bleeding in early pregnancy and had a positive outcome. Really nervous something isn't right. I've been having mild cramps all week they don't hurt but I know they are there.
Many thanks Smile

I'm only at 8 weeks so can't say as to the outcome, but I had bleeding and cramping start at around 5 weeks for about 10 days, and then it just went away. So far, it hasn't come back, so I'm hoping that it never does. The doc said she didn't find a reason for the blood, but I had a scan and everything seemed fine.

I spotted every day for most of the first trimester and now have a healthy 2 year old. I have spotted at all this pregnancy. Bodies are weird!

Thank you that helps a lot, I've been trying not to stress too much about it but it's so hard not to! I think of it carry's on I'm going to call the EPU again next week!

Hey,
Is it red or brown?

babyD20 · 19/06/2021 19:21

To be honest it's been both! Some days bright red and some days brown. It's not heavy but enough to make me worry!

Are you filling a pad?
It is very common I will say although it does give you a fright.
Implantation can also cause a little pocket of blood.
My friend had a period every month in her pregnancy.
Bodies are crazy things and you have a lot going on inside even though baby is teeny tiny!
I think it would be worth a call to EPU to find out what's going on and give you piece of mind.

I don't want to scare you.

In my 2nd pregnancy I was took into hospital because of bleeding. I was scanned and told there was a blood sack within the sac and they wanted it to drain away without tearing it. I was scanned fortnightly. I bled on and off and it managed to drain abs repair successfully by 21 weeks. (It was a sub-chronic hematoma)

In my 3rd pregnancy I had a early reassurance scan and also seen the heartbeat. 3 days later I started spotting, bleeding on and off. I went for a scan and two people came in to give the worst news.

Please go back to be scanned. It could be fine but everyone is different and peoples symptoms don't always have the same outcome x

Thank you, I think I'm going to call them tomorrow to be seen, did you have any other symptoms other than bleeding with your 3rd pregnancy.

I don't think I had many symptoms with my 3rd to be honest. Just the bleeding.

But just because I had a bad experience doesn't mean you will too. My second was a smooth pregnancy from 22 weeks on and she was a full term baby x
