Leaking boobs at 18 weeks!

Hi ladies!

Is it normal for boobs to leak at 18 weeks? Just noticed my nipples were a little crusty so I went to clean them and as I squeezed they just started producing 😂

Yes! Totally normal for some women...happened to me too mostly during the night for some reason. Nothing to worry about.

Yes I’m afraid so. I always woke up with wet patches, also after having a shower seems to be more leaky.

Mine leaked throughout the second trimester I think. It's different for everyone.

If it’s any consolation, I’ve found breastfeeding really straightforward after having leaky boobs during pregnancy… so if you’re planning on breastfeeding hopefully this is a sign it will go well!

Totally normal. When I had my first, I started leaking very early (13 weeks ish) and that continued through to birth. It never really increased in amount for me over time so I never needed to use breast pads

My sisters never experienced it at all so I didn't have anyone to ask, here's hoping breastfeeding will be easier if the boobs are leaking now 😂

Oh I'm 24 weeks now and haven't had this at all but I'll know now that it's normal if it starts!
