2/5 engaged. Labour soon??

Hi. 36weeks + 3days. So 2 weeks ago midwife appointment and baby was free. Last week I was 1/5 engaged and now after midwife appointment I am 2/5 engaged. Could labour b soon? I'm so ready to meet my little bun in the oven

Not necessarily, I was fully engaged at 36 weeks and assumed it would be soon. He arrived at 41 + 1!

I'm 39+2 and have been 3/5 engaged since 37 weeks ....

I don't think it has any bearing on it; sorry!

I wouldn't get your hopes up. We've had ones well engaged early on and still waited weeks for them to arrive.

Sorry... it’s possible obviously but I was 2 or 3/5 engaged from 34 weeks or so and went to 42 weeks. Good luck!

Plus... you should be aiming to get to at least 39 weeks to let your bun cook away!

My earliest delivery was ds2 and he never engaged at all before delivery, resulting in the gush of waters breaking!

Unfortunately it doesn't have any influence on labour. I was 2/5 at 36 weeks and went into labour at 40+1.
