Sorry I appreciate this has been done many times but could do with some advice.
I had my first jab end of March (the Astra Zeneca one) and then was due to have my second one last week but cancelled as found out I was pregnant.
Obviously I have to have the AZ one for my second one and my brain is fried trying to work out when is best to have the second jab.
I thought maybe after 12 weeks would be best but I am travelling up and down the country at the moment with my job and in our 4 offices there are 10-15 people in each office, where social distancing is pretty much non-existent, so totally possible to catch covid.
I’m only 5 weeks and very reluctant to tell work now as I was pregnant last year, told them at 7 weeks due to office visits taking place and then had a long miscarriage and surgery etc. Also I’ve just started a new role at work so don’t want to request home working.
Feel like either way if I have the jab now I’m putting my baby at risk during the crucial development stage and if I don’t I’m at risk of getting covid.
I have a reassurance scan in 10 days so not sure whether to tell them after that and request home working until after 12 weeks when I’m fully jabbed up?
Just wondering if you ladies can let me know your thoughts on what might be the best solution!
