I've noticed today that my boobs are really sore again, like 1st trimester levels of sore, and I'm wondering if this means my milk could be coming in?

I'm really unprepared so want to make sure I'm ready to get any colostrum that may start leaking through!

Your milk won't come in until after the birth, your body may start producing colostrum during pregnancy, but there's no need to collect it this early if it does start. Is there a reason you'd like to collect colostrum during pregnancy?

@Garman great thank you! All I seem to be told is how important colostrum is so I'd like to have some available if for whatever reason I can't breast feed when she's here!

If you decide to collect some or need to due to gestational diabetes etc it only needs to be done in the days before, your body will make it for the first few days of her life too and you can hand express then too.
