So with the third wave ahead in the UK I've become really anxious on being in hospital to give birth. Had my first dose of Pfizer on the 3rd of June, but the second one is not scheduled until 20th August so 2 weeks after my due date. I'm worried I won't have enough protection and get infected and won't be able to see the baby or have some complications. I tried to move my second dose of vaccine forward but they say they don't have any earlier appointments.
Really can't imagine staying on a full ward and be exposed... I don't feel comfortable with home birth either as it's my first baby.
Anyone else feel the same?
