I'm currently 11+4 pregnant and been having some really bad itching on the palms of my hands and soles of my feet, so much so, that I could barely sleep last night. Went to see the MW today and give some blood for LFTs. I'm quite worried that, because it is so early, that my tests will come back negative with low serum bile salts levels and ALTs and the MW will completely miss my developing cholestasis until it's too late.
Any one else experience early pregnancy cholestasis and get correctly diagnosed? I really do not want to have to jump through hoops to get taken seriously about this. Also, I am of Indian decent and know that I am inherently at a higher risk.
