Yes. Many years ago. Took the test to drs with me. They tested me and it was negative. As the dr seen the "positive" test they asked me to attend weekly for pregnancy tests until I either had a positive or a period. I did this for 6 weeks and my period came. Not sure what was going on.

daddydas · 16/06/2021 21:12

@Peach01 this was a chemical pregnancy. If you test positive and then period within 6 weeks.

Aimzxo · 16/06/2021 21:42

I will attach the photo, top one i can see a faint second line, I've taken one this morning first wee of the day, I've had a baby before so I know if your too early you can get negatives even if you are pregnant, possible chemical pregnancy, just strange I got the faint positive last night and negative with my first wee of the morning which is obviously the strongest, period three weeks late, guess I will just wait and see if my period comes and if not test again in a few weeks, just hate the not knowing really, xx

I’m currently going through something similar, I had a blood test on 10.06.21 after a missed period of 3 weeks and negative tests, tested positive on 3 different tests on 11.06.21 and received blood test results on 12.06.21 which stated negative!?
I booked a private scan and was told ive for a PUL - Pregnancy Unknown Location.

Ask your GP for a blood test and see what that says.

Good luck xx

That's what happened with me, a clear blue and a very faint half line came up. Test done at drs next day was negative. I don't believe I was pregnant at all. It seemed to be birth control that was making everything go mad.

I can see the line on the top one. Does the bottom one have a faint line too? The clear blue.

Aimzxo · 16/06/2021 22:16

Oh bless you sorry to hear, that, if its pul what happens? Are things just left or do you have to have more tests? Xx

The more im looking at the clear blue the more I can see a faint line but I can't see it in real life lol

I thought it was the Clear Blue one you meant initially. I can see it. Good luck for your next test Smile

Cawkey I hope everything's okay for you too.

This was mine the day before yesterday OP.

Came on my period today. I am absolutely gutted.

I am due to have some more tests at the hospital tomorrow, however they have said if it comes back negative they can not do anything. I am currently experiencing cramps, back ache and spotting/bleeding. fingers crossed i get some answers!

I can see a faint line on the clear blue also! I would definitely request a blood test from your GP to check your levels.

I have done a lot of internet research over the last few weeks and have found that it is quite common for some women not to produce positive tests until after 6/7 weeks. xx
