Im 35 weeks and getting blood test next week to see if levels have gone up.

A month on spatone has made very little difference so have bought ferrograd C today.

Is there any hope I could turn things around in the next couple of weeks?

Is Spatone an iron supplement?

If so, try Floradix. They do a liquid or tablets.

sorry to hear its not working for you. i'm sure you already looked into it - but just in case; i spent my first week on spatone drinking huge amounts of cold milk and eating ice cubes which didn't help absorbtion at all. Even though i was careful about taking vitamin c with the spatone. seem to be on track now. good luck with the ferograd c!

Pecka - it isnt working for me either, despite being a miracle with DD2.

Im 39+2 and have to have another blood test this afternoon, when I know my iron levels will have dropped again. Currently at 9.8 i think.

Not sure what this other stuff you are on about is, my view is its too late for me now!

Hope someone can help though mate.
