Sorry if TMI but anyone else felt swollen down below?

35+4 today and I've noticed over the last few days down below feels abit sore and swollen. Sorry for TMI, just didn't know if anyone else has had this and if its normal. I have a midwife app in a few days so I will ask but just feel abit embarrassed saying it haha 😂😂

Yes! I'm exactly the same as you, 35+4 - my midwife said its very normal and to do with increasing pressure from growing baby. The joys of pregnancy! 🤣

I had this with my twins. It was due to the pressure reducing blood flow, there was a lot of weight to bump. It went down as soon as they were born.

Varicose veins in my case I’m sorry to say… it’s down to all the pressure I’m afraid. Does improve once baby is born.

It's more common than you would think. I had it and yes it's normal.

I think between the pressure and all the extra blood it’s normal! I feel like I’ve had it from 20 something weeks! I was listening to a podcast and it wasn’t til the girl on that mentioned it and said she got paranoid and went to the doctors about it and begged someone to take a look, eventually a nurse did and said it’s completely normal 😂 very weird! I havent mentioned it to my partner (and to be fair he’s not seeing it very often to say anything ) but I’m wondering if he’s noticed 🤣

I thought it would just be pressure from baby but just have never heard anyone mention this before so wasn't sure if it was normal, none of my friends had it so felt abit embarrassed haha. @sarah13xx I'm the same, I never mentioned it to my partner but he hasn't seemed to have noticed really, I don't think he would feel comfortable coming near if he knew 😂😂 at least we are nearly at the end now!!
