Hi All,
At 12 weeks I saw a consultant to request a caesarean. This is my third baby and my first labour was quite traumatic, and resulted in a very long recovery time, 2nd baby was a very easy labour and birth but I suffered with the same issues during recovery as with the first.
The consultant was very understanding and said that he'll see me again at 36 weeks to see if I still want to go ahead and if so, he'll book me in. This appointment is now coming up on Friday and I'm starting to feel a bit nervous about it again as my midwives keep telling me not to take any crap from them and it's made me feel I'm going to have to battle again! Has anyone been to a similar appointment and can tell me what to expect? Do they just go through all the risks etc.?
