Hi everyone

I am 38+3wks and a first timer.

I had what I think was a show on Saturday, a brownish (bit like old school glue - the stuff that never stuck!!) about the size of a pea. I have a had clear discharge on and off ever since with a bit more brownish type stuff. There was no blood in it at all

Does this mean that something actually might happen?? My MW confirmed I am not really even engaged as of last week, but my BH seem to have gotten slightly worse.

Let me know your thoughts - also if that is a show - can I go to my aqua-natel class tomorrow?

AFAIK, show can come quite a long time before actual labour begins. Baby is still protected from infection until waters break so you should be fine for aquanatal class. Might be worth checking with teacher though just to be on the safe side.

Hi Bluemary - firstly, I want to tell you that I am not an expert, and I am sure someone else will be along soon with waaaaay more experience than me.

But, fwiw, my opinion is:

Yes, it was a show.
No, you should not go to aquanatal
Yes, things may be starting to move now, but not necessarily properly iykwim.

Ring your mw tomorrow and see what she says.
