Hello, sorry I’m freaking out now, I was fabric dying a bath mat I have black, I’m 28 weeks pregnant, me being stupid didn’t wear gloves and spilt the whole out of black dye all over my hands and my hands are black now.
I’m worried my skin has absorbed it now, I’ve tried everything natural to get it off, baking soda, fairy liquid, vinegar, normal soap and water and nothing is making it come off! I’m really worried now it’s all absorbed, will is harm my baby? How do I get it off safely? I’m absolutely fuming with myself that I didn’t wear gloves.

What does the packaging say? It's probably non toxic, but worth checking.

It’s the Dylon dye in black! I threw the packaging ages ago it’s in one of those pots that you have to peel the whole packaging off to get it to it 😩 I’m really freaking myself out now, it doesn’t say it’s non toxic anywhere where I can find! It says it can cause an allergic reaction!

Your skin is actually pretty good at not absorbing bad things, it's one of its functions. If you aren't having an allergic reaction, which I assume you'd have mentioned, I wouldn't worry. It's a home dye kit not industrial stuff and they probably wouldn't sell if without obvious warnings if it was toxic.

I doubt it'll harm your baby - it says to rinse your skin with plenty of water. All dyes carry the risk of allergic reaction.

I’ve tried so many things to try and if it off now but it’s gone in al large creased and cracks of my hand and it’s still not coming off at all it’s not! I can’t seem to find online if it’s toxic or not it’s not giving me a straight answer!

The dye will have stained your hands and likely won't come off. Unless you have an allergic reaction to it, it's not going to do you or your baby any harm.

This might sound crazy but if you have any olive oil rub it over your hands for a while with washing up liquid too and it might come off. X
