Hi, is there anyone on Sukkarto sr 500 mg for gestational diabetes? Please let me know, is it safe? Before I was on glucophage 500 mg for gestational diabetes now my gp gave me Sukkarto 500 mg, I saw on leaflet it is saying do not take this if you are pregnant that’s why I’m concern , please help me

So long as your GP is aware that you are pregnant you should be fine. They wouldn't prescribe something that wasn't safe to take in pregnancy.

Lots of medications haven't been tested in pregnancy and therefore state "don't take whilst pregnant". It doesn't necessarily mean they'll do any harm, just that they've not been 100% tested / licensed.

Thank you so much for your reply, actually it’s my first pregnancy and I’m now 36 weeks, so everything is new for me, I’m excited and also nervous about everything
