So I’m 11 weeks, and I’ve found a love for lemonade and chocolate/sweets!😍
Completely off chicken, salads, tea, coffee, Chinese, a lot of hot foods like roast dinners, sausages etc

What are yours and is your baby a boy or girl?💙💕

Really off meat and vegetables (only way I can have them is in green juice).

Liking fruit and sweet things.

I'm having a girl.

Nat4392 · 13/06/2021 09:42

I really went off meat and stodgy meals. Craved fresh fruit, coke and anything sweet.
I just had a girl 💗

Worriesome · 13/06/2021 10:45

I completely went off meat especially chicken right through the first trimester. I ate chocolate/sweets daily and drank tons of irn bru too. I’m having a girl and I’m not surprised as sweet=girl apparently x

Worriesome · 13/06/2021 10:46

So far it seems anyone having a girl went off meal, they must be true some of these myths x

Worriesome · 13/06/2021 10:46

meat

MrsGxx · 13/06/2021 10:56

I believe there could be some truths to these myths. Im not sure on gender yet but I can’t get enough of lemonade and chocolate and sour sweets 🍭🍫 I already have an 8 year old boy so a girl would be lovely x

Orange juice, kitkats, cheese...I had a girl.

Clm22 · 13/06/2021 11:06

I went off anything sweet in first trimester, cake etc. More craving salty crisps, and I’m having a girl 🎀 so not sure if there’s anything in this old wives tale 😂

spagino21 · 13/06/2021 11:13

I’m 17 weeks now and was similar to you, went off most meat and vegetables/salads - anything strong tasting really. I could only stomach fresh fruit, biscuits and other plain foods like bread/potatoes. Also had a craving for milk in the early weeks. I’m having a boy 💙

MrsGxx · 13/06/2021 11:16

At first, I loved salt and vinegar crisps.
@spagino21 I craved egg sandwiches and cheese with my little boy I’m finding this time slightly different, but like you say I suppose cravings are different x

I have two boys and two girls.
Girl pregnancies I craved mango and all soft fruits wasn't keen on veg or meat just all about the sweets stuff.
Boys I was into meat in a big way I wanted steaks and meat pies anything savoury.
Although I craved salt and vinegar crisps with all of them.

Aozora13 · 13/06/2021 11:29

I convinced myself I was having a boy after 2 girls because I’ve gone off sweet stuff completely and am obsessed with cheese and pickled onions. With DD1 I was heavily into ice cream and with DD2 it was cream cakes and obscenely sweet coffee (caramel latte type drinks) none of which I’m that bothered about when not preggo. But the old wives let me down and of course I’m having another girl 💖

Went off meat with all of them, and v picky on the veg front too. Apparently my babies are all about the dairy products!

MintyCedric · 13/06/2021 11:36

Oh yes...also salt and vinegar crisps and cheese and pickled onion sandwiches in the early days but I put that down to morning sickness.

Hughbert · 13/06/2021 11:40

Plain cheddar sandwiches on white bread, opal fruits, curry. Had a girl.

Sparrowsong · 13/06/2021 11:41

Sex, not gender.

niceupthedance · 13/06/2021 11:48

Mustard, wasabi and tomato salad - had a boy

I'm on baby no 3 which is a boy already have 2 girls I've craved ice with all 3 that's it

Trinacham · 13/06/2021 17:44

I'm very early on in my pregnancy and don't have any cravings yet, just aversions. I've gone off fish, meat and anything greasy!

WhiteHorse92 · 13/06/2021 20:16

I went off meat, especially chicken, the thought/sight/smell of it made me go green and I had a boy. No cravings though. My friend also went off chicken and had a girl which made me think I'd be having a girl too but apparently not haha.

MintyCedric · 14/06/2021 09:45

Went off meat with all of them, and v picky on the veg front too.

I couldn't bear cooked veg, especially leeks which are normally one of my favourites.

Husband used to buy my favourite puddings to bribe me to eat my greens!

I did eat loads of fruit though, and salad later on.

kitkatsky · 14/06/2021 09:58

First baby I went right off sweet things and had a girl. Second baby I just wanted to eat cake and custard creams and it was another girl, so completely opposite tastes and same sex baby

romdowa · 14/06/2021 10:02

I'm 18 weeks and I've gone off chicken completely, early on you couldn't even cook it in the house or I would puke. I also had cravings for milk and sour peaches but now I'm craving steak . I'm not finding out what I'm having though so it will be interesting to see what happens in November

Seeline · 14/06/2021 10:03

COuldn't eat anything with either of mine. No cravings at all. Just grateful to keep anything down.

One of each.

Iris2020 · 14/06/2021 10:25

I struggled with fish in early pregnancy but only because of the nausea. I don't really think I experienced food cravings or aversions but I've been missing coke on hot days. I think avoiding caffeine is one of the hardest dietary challenges for me. Maybe I'm taking it overboard but I really don't want to take risks and I'm limiting myself to 1 mug of tea and 2/3 sips of coke on hot days.
