Early pregnancy - 8 weeks. Went for lunch today with a friend and after lunch I've had a pressure in my tummy next to my belly button. Just been a dull pressure since 1:30..... picture attached for location. Anyone any idea what this could be? Nothing improves it or makes it worse in terms of moving etc.

You could be a little bit constipated but if the pain doesn't ease it would probably be best to contact 111 or the midwife triage.

@romdowa thank you for your reply. You might be right as I have only been passing little bits once a day

It's really common In early pregnancy! But if you are worried do get checked out. I'm not a medical professional!

I've still got the pressure today - just had some lunch and it's the same again. Have managed to move my bowels so not sure what it could be, it's only after I eat

Could be trapped wind. I think around where your hand is there is a slight curve in the large intestine. Could be wind is getting a stuck there after you've eaten. It's always best to get an pains checked by a GP, especially if it's been happening for a few days with no easing up x

@jellybean13419 I did think it was bowel related but it's defo not wind. I have my booking in appointment this week so might mention it then...
