Hi.

Just want to know is it normal to start red bleeding again at 4 weeks when it was completely stop 2 weeks ago. And i don't think so thats my peroid and again today i am having cramps.

No it’s not. You should ring the hospital where you gave birth and ask for their advice.

@Fitforforty i asked them. They were not concerned said it could be my peroid but i know it's not. They were saying women can bleed upto 6 weeks.

Are you breastfeeding? I had a c section and formula fed and had my first period about 4 weeks post partum. I was alarmed too! If you’ve already rung hospital I’d double check with GP or midwife, given you think it’s not your period.

@Terrazzo bleeding on pad was just a spot. But when i wipe with tissue it's alot on paper and it's keep coming. Now bleeding is not there after 4 days but still my mucus discharge is red earlier it was brown to very light pink.

@Terrazzo I am mix feeding. Mostly breastfeeding but everyday i have to top up with formula.
