Still not feeling movement at 17 weeks

I'm pregnant with my third and wondering if anyone else still didn't feel movement at 17 weeks.. I read threads on here of people saying they felt movement ridiculously early with their third.. My most recent scan was at 13 weeks and all was good. I just thought I'd feel kicks by now.

Where is your placenta laying? That masked a lot of movement for me as it was at the front.

I'm not sure they didn't make any particular mention of my placenta at my last scan so I presumed it wasn't anywhere out of the ordinary...

I think that's really normal, OP. I didn't feel it until 19 or 20 weeks with DS1. Currently a couple of days behind you (16+5) with DC2 and haven't felt anything yet and I'm really not concerned. My bump is growing and I still have symptoms (nausea, tiredness etc.) So think everything is fine, I'm sure you'll feel something in the next few weeks.

With my first I felt it at 18 weeks. With my second I felt nothing until about 25 weeks, because my placenta was anterior. Also, I wasnt really paying as much attention to movements as first time around, because I was very distracted by my toddler

I was 18/19 weeks with my 2 before I felt anything

With my first I felt it at 15 weeks. With my fourth I didn't feel much till 18 weeks as he was facing towards my back. I was also overweight so think that had something to do with it.

My first I felt at 13 weeks, my second not until 18

Me ✋🏻 18 weeks with number 4 and only just feeling movements.

My placenta is at the front again. I only know this because a private scan picked it up. I asked the midwife last week why the 12 week didn’t note it. She said they don’t because they mostly move by the 20 week scan.

Did you hear the heartbeat at your 16 week appointment? I was Googling all sorts before that and that really put my mind at ease x

I’ve been worrying about this too! I’m 18 weeks and nothing yet. I thought maybe I felt something yesterday, but it could have been gas. I’m sure I felt kicks at about 15 weeks with my first. I had a scan a week ago and everything was fine so I’m trying to be patient.

Try not to worry OP. With my first it was 22 weeks, my second 16 weeks and my third back up to about 22 weeks. As previous posters have said, a lot depends on where your placenta is lying.

Pregnant with my second and only started feeling movements this week, I'm 19w.

Pregnant with my second and it only felt like gas until about 23 weeks! And partner couldn't feel the kicks till 30 weeks this time as anterior placenta
