I had a growth scan today due too previous complications of pregnancy (I have them ever y 4weeks) . My little boy is weighing at 1041g (EFW). His AC and stuff is on track for 50centile. However his FL is way off the chart as he's soooo tall for some reason
Anyone had any measurements this early and can compare? I'm worried I'm gonna give birth too a huge baby

I had monthly growth scans with all mine throughout and fortnightly with dc3 & dc4. I cannot remember exact details of estimated weight and measurements they were all about the 25th centile but all had femur length above the 99th centile. I remember their scans and the sonographer commenting on how long their legs were. All were born tiny for weight and AC (3 of them below the 2nd centile and Dc3 was 0.2 centile and was very tiny apart from her long legs). All are still tall, long legs and skinny which they don’t get from me Grin

Our 1st had long legs compared to her other measurements. She just has long limbs and at 15yr not very tall (all legs), was an average 7lb 7oz at birth (long and skinny).
Our others all had slightly shorter legs compared to other measurements but all well above average on the centiles. All were very big babies and still above average as they've got older. Only had weight estimates with our twins who were scanned every 4 weeks. They estimated them at 5lb each at 32+5 and they were born bang on 38wk weighing 8lb 5oz & 8lb 11oz.

I'm thinking he's going too be tall and skinny just like my father is. He was soo chubby on last scan but FL was quite small but not concerning. We went back and his stomach hadn't really grown a whole lot and deffo no longer chubby but his legs had shot up xx
