Private scans 30+ weeks

Hi ladies

I’m 30 weeks now and would quite like to get another scan since we haven’t seen baby since my 20 (21) week scan. My only issue is we haven’t found out the sex and would rather not find out before it’s here, so does anyone know is it possible to get a scan at this stage without inadvertently finding out? I had one at 17/18 weeks and said we didn’t want to know which was fine but I’m thinking it must be harder for the sonographer to hide it now?

It’s fine just tell them, your Db will be so big on the scan that it is easier to avoid certain areas. For example I had a lot of growth scans from 26 weeks and I knew DD was a girl but they never mentioned it nor confirmed it was true. So it’s fine

I had a 4D scan last week at 33+4 weeks! I'd told them before arrival that we didn't want to know the scan and when we arrived. They didn't show us and it wasn't apparent at all during the scan - the sonographer actually said it was harder to accidentally reveal the later you are in pregnancy as there's less wiggle room for baby!

You barely see anything at that stage because you only see bit by bit, I didn’t leave with the feeling of having seen the baby tbh.
