Early Labour and Elective Sections

Does anyone know at what stage you're supposed to call maternity triage if you're having an elective section but suspect early labour? I've had diarrhoea all week and an increase in Braxton Hicks. Baby also feels very low. I'm 38 weeks with baby 2. I don't particularly want to get to the sore contraction stage but should I be waiting for that really and/or waters breaking?

I'd have thought straight away.

Just give them a call and get checked over at hospital. If they think all is well they will send you home again but if they agree it is the early stages they may want to bring your elcs forward.

I'd call them just in case, they might want you in earlier for monitoring.

Give the hospital a ring and tell them your concerns, can't do any harm in getting checked over

Thanks everyone. I know always best to call but just don't want to waste their time or seem a bit silly.
