Sainsbury's have a red woolen winter coat for £50 at the mo (last weekend they also had 25% off all clothing - not sure if that's still on though) - it's a swing style coat, so will go nicely over bump (I'm not due till March and have bought one hoping it'll see me through the winter!)

It's double brested but only has buttons at the top (2 rows above breasts) so should go over any size bump - worth a look

tk maxx! i have 10 weeks to go and didn't want to spend fortune on much needed warm coat that actually does up over bump. got something lovely in 2 sizes too big which is perfect and was only 30 quid so i won't feel desperately guilty about not getting much wear out of it....

Apparently TopShop- gorgeous thick poncho style but with sleeves that can be worn as non maternity too. Quite 'edgy'

I have my eye on that coat. I think its this one. I reckon you would be able to get some of the money back by selling on e-bay afterwards. That's my plan!

here

Just tried the link but it wasn't working. You should be able to see it under 'maternity' and 'jackets'.

yep that's the one - 2nd one in - the check cape.

micegg · 20/11/2007 15:41

MMM it's nice. Bit pricey for me though. However, I am due April so will wear it all winter. Then could sell on e-bay ........

I bought a cheapie from George at ASDA in size 18 which cost about £20 and lasted me right until the end (and I could do the zip up!).

yes it is alot but it will see you right through this winter (dont forget that you don't spring back to pre preg size and jumpers under your usual coat may still feel tight for quite a while - particularly if you're going to breast feed as the boobs will stay big and if you have any more babies too.....!!

I checked out eBay and bought a second hand one from there. It is a TopShop coat and makes me look huge - but it'll do the trick so I can't complain.
