Braxton Hicks at 25 weeks

Has anyone else had them so early on, and how frequent were they? Maybe it's a complete non-event (Google doesn't come up with anything too worrying) but I didn't have a single one with DC1 (and I was pregnant for 42 weeks!) so it freaks me out a bit.

I've also been asked to take part in a research study for women who had a c section in their first birth as they are trying to study the link between csection in the first pregnancy and prematurity in a subsequent pregnancy.

I didn't know that was a thing/extra risk factor at all so freaking myself out a bit that I'll be going into labour early!

I had them very badly at 25 weeks with my first for about a month. Freaked me out and was sent to triage a few times but each time I was sent home saying they were just bad BHs. She was born at 39+4 and it was an incredibly easy labour, which I always put down to that weird month of false contractions!

Yes from at least 20wks in pregnancies 4 & 5. 4 was induced at 40wks, am currently 39+4 with 5.

Oh thank you both thats so reassuring to hear.

@BillyShears that's so interesting, I did wonder whether this was a good sign my body would actually be able to do labour this time! Last time nothing happened even after induction and I ended up with EMCS. Glad it is preparing this time!
