12 week scan and petrified!

I've got my 12 week scan tomorrow and i'm so scared that it's not going to go well. Like there won't be a baby or no heartbeat.

I had a couple of small bleeds at 6 weeks and went for an early scan where they could see 2 sac's but no baby, they then put my dates back 2 weeks and said it was because it was early they couldn't see but reassured me everything was fine.

Since then i've had no more bleeding but i don't even feel pregnant. Someone please help settle my nerves

It's normal to feel a little anxious. I didn't feel pregnant at 12 weeks either. Just think how great it will be to have the scan over with. Best of luck x

Hi op I have mine on Fri and feel the exact same I think it's normal I feel pretty normal now and worry that's a bad sign let me know how it all goes 😃

Hi OP, I have a 12 week scan on Friday too and have convinced myself something will be wrong. I had an early scan at 8 weeks, all was fine so I have no reason to think it but I’m panicking anyway. Hope all is OK, thinking of you.

@mumtoone2019 glad it went well! I'm due my first 12 week scan next week and I'm also worried as I had a 5 day light bleed/spotting at 6 weeks. It doesn't help that they are doing all the bloods/urine/whooping cough vaccine at the scan appointment so I have that to dread too 😅 was your scan quick?

@2020mission it was about 40 mins but that was because baby wouldnt keep still for them to do the measurements. I had to stop and go for a walk to try and get baby to move and keep still haha! Good luck x
