Hi
First baby due in Sept, I'm just working my way through a list of items to buy. I'm trying to think what is best buying for baby to sleep in upstairs and downstairs? Could I just get a Moses basket that I could move up/downstairs for day/night sleeping? I just think to get two sleeping aids for what could be just a short period of time would be a huge expense. Any ideas/recommendations what others have used would be appreciated.

Our carrycot/pram top thing has a mattress, mattress protector (I think moses basket size but i forget, it's little green sheep make anyway) and fitted sheets for the mattress. Oh and then a muslin tucked in over the top at the ehead end to catch any...um...spills. it had that whether we we just going out for a walk or using it for a sleep, summer baby so sometimes chucked a cellular blanket over her feet depending on the weather and her clothing
