Hiya guys am 17 weeks pregnant and have a subchorionic hematoma it is quite large however when I went to my last scan they said it has decreased which is good news i have only had very light spotting twice about 5 weeks ago and didn't last long but I have a bit of pain today in lower right belly but don't know if it could just be round ligament pain as am starting to show was just wondering if anyone else has experienced it thanks in advance guys x

I had one and it just caused a bit of bleeding; my DD was born naturally a week late and is fine.

Aww thank you so much and where was yours as last time I went they said mine is right under the baby near were birth canal is and am trying stay positive as am 17 weeks and I know risk of miscarriage goes down I really want to start buying baby bits but still apprehensive xx

I also found out I had placenta insufficiency with my little boy and got induced at 36 weeks his a happy healthy 3 year old but just makes me more anxious with this pregnancy

Hi OP,

I had a SCH with my son who's now 18 months. It was picked up at 17 weeks after a big bleed and I bled/spotted daily until 26 weeks. I had to go in for each fresh red bleed ( 4 times ) and stay 24hrs for each one after 20 weeks. I had scans every 2 weeks too to monitor it until it had disappeared. Very scary but all okay
