I’m so exhausted and honestly just feel terrible.

I’m almost 31 weeks with my twins now, DH is working away for a few days. I feel so hopeless looking after DD (she’s almost 3). I can’t really take her out by myself. I can’t walk that far as I get very breathless and I’m also feeling quite edgy/ anxious in general.

It’s going to be such a struggle to get through the day, and knowing DH won’t be home to take over makes it so much worse.

Feeling like a really crap Mum.

Is anyone else in the same situation?

I know two newborns will probably be far worse, but at this stage I really want my body/ general mobility back!!

28 weeks with a 21mo DD with SEN. I'm so tired and finding it so hard to keep up with all her needs and carry her round all the time as she can't walk. Luckily she's in nursery at the moment while I'm at work but worrying about having her home full time from when I'm 34 weeks

How are you all getting on? I think I am lucky that DD is almost 3 so some things are less challenging, but it was a nightmare today trying to get her to nursery so I could go for my scan. Doesn’t help we are in the middle of a renovation!

I’m upset because I’ve been told I need another glucose tolerance test because one of the babies growths has slowed (one twin bigger than the other). I barely got through it the first time. I asked if I could sit in the waiting room without my mask- they said no! How on earth are pregnant women suppose to fast for 12 hours +, and sit starving in a waiting room with a mask on and have blood taken without passing out or basically having a panic attack! Also got a few more scans lined up so feeling a bit worried that it’s not all plain sailing anymore... Sad

I can understand I need the test but some nervous to feel that unwell again.

Guys, do not buy and use that slime bath stuff as an activity for your toddler and then try to shower pregnant in the same bath. Soooooo slippy! SIL sent it and DH thought in the bath would be better than a tub of goo :o big mistake! I didn't fall but extremely glad we just replaced our non slip bath thingy as I defo would have with the old one.

Oh no, sorry to hear about the test, that sounds rotten. If it helps I find the medical type masks are the easiest to breathe through. You could also pull it away from the bottom of your mouth if you need to - OK so it negates the protection but at least it fulfils their requirement of you wearing it. Take water to sip and a handheld fan maybe? And see if you can book it as early as possible in the day so it's the minimal time you need to go without food. Get a lift there, and go straight to the McDonald's drive thru on the way back.
