Hi,
We have 2 beautiful boys aged 2 and 4 and have toyed with the idea of a third baby for a while. Well, a few weeks ago we 'took a first and final chance' so to speak and bingo. Period isn't due til Sat but did a test today and it's positive so not even 4 weeks yet!! I know anything could happen at this stage. I can't get my head round it though. Suddenly feeling guilty and that my other 2 will miss out on things. Please reassure me!!!

They'll be fine- they'll learn loads having a baby sibling at that age as well.

And if you get another boy you can join those of us in the exclusive 3 boys club

(Althogh as I am exepctingmy 4th boy now I get membership of the even mroe exclusive level LOL)

Your DS2 has already caused DS1 to miss out on your undivided attention so if you were worried about your DSs missing out on that , too late. However they may get less of your time but they get far more attention from eachother, my DDs are totally spoilt by DS whom they both adore. 3DC and you've got a ready made friendship group whenever you want ( OK and when you don't want too, but that's life) even enough for a small band I'd say a big family made up for all the things they might be 'missing out' on and so long as you don't say...if we hadn't had the baby we'd have ....flown to Australia, gone on holiday to Egypt etc....then they'll never know. Don't worry all will be well and congratulations

My son is 6 and he has siblings aged 4 and nearly 2 1/2. I asked him if it was worth less time with Mummy to have them and he said yes.

Congrats.

Thanks for your reassuring comments! Another worry - yes I worry a lot!! - is that we only have 3 bedrooms so the boys will have to share after having got used to a bedroom each. I always had my own room and can't imagine sharing.
